Collect a 24-hour dark plastic urine jug refrigerated. Refrigerate 24 hour urine during collection. 24 hour Urine Collection: The bladder must be emptied at the time the collection is to begin, and this urine is discarded. Thereafter all urine must be collected until the end of the scheduled time.

*If 2 or more jugs/containers of urine are collected over time, volumes of each container must be documented and aliquots from each well mixed container (preferably 100 mLs) must be sent separately.
