Processing Instructions

The semen specimen should be collected by manual stimulation. Entire ejaculate must be submitted for analysis. Collect specimen in a sterile container. The patient must complete the questions included in the semen analysis pamphlet provided by MCL and deliver with the specimen. Proper temperature maintenance of specimen throughout processing and shipping is critical. Avoid extreme cold or heat, temperature variability can affect sample.
