Processing Instructions
Collect a full Gold SST tube. Allow blood to clot 30-60 minutes and centrifuge 10 minutes with stopper in place. Send unopened tube refrigerated.

Stability: Refrigerated 48 hours
Rejection Criteria
Rejection criteria: Samples not drawn in separator tubes or opened samples. Frozen or aliqoted samples are not acceptable for ionized calcium. Hemolyzed samples and samples not centrifuged.
