Submit a Nasopharyngeal (NP) or Nares swab specimen in a single viral transport medium tube. Swab specimens should be collected using only swabs with a synthetic tip (e.g., polyester, Dacron®) and an aluminum or plastic shaft. Refrigerate all specimens promptly after collection
